Login Issues

How do I obtain a username and password?

For your convenience, we have “Sign-Up” links on our front page at https://primarycare.tuftsmedicalcenter.org/portal/LinkRedirector.aspx?PageID=5f4e0eb2-fcc5-4dcb-877f-22315ce2f680" target="_self">Request One Now” form to request a PIN you will be contacted by our patient portal team.   Messages received after normal business hours will be answered in the order in which they were received.  You can also call 617-636-5400 to request an account.  If you already have a PIN you can click on the “ Register Your Account” link to create your username and password.

What is a PIN?

A PIN is a one-time Personal Identification Number that allows you to gain access to our secure online tools. All patients are required to use this unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) to verify their identity. If you have not received your PIN, please contact our practice to request one. For your convenience we have a “Request One Now” link under the Sign-Up section on our front page at https://primarycare.tuftsmedicalcenter.org or you can call 617-636-5400 f or assistance.

What to do if my registration PIN does not work

If you are receiving an error that your PIN is not correct when registering, please email Tufts MC Primary Care Portal Support and we will assist you. Messages received after normal business hours will be answered the next business day in the order in which they were received.   Please call 617-636-5400 if you would like immediate assistance during normal business hours.

What should I do if I forgot my password?

For your convenience, we have an “I Forgot My Password” link on our front page at https://primarycare.tuftsmedicalcenter.org that you can use to reset your password without having to wait for technical support to assist you.

 

What do I do if I am locked out of my account?

If you have been locked out of your account, please email Tufts MC Primary Care Portal Support and we will assist you. Messages received after normal business hours will be answered the next business day in the order in which they were received.   Please call 617-636-5400 if you would like immediate assistance during normal business hours.

Updating Personal Information

I need to update my email. What do I do?

If you need to change your email please call 61 7-636-0084 to reach our Tufts MC main registration office so your entire medical record can be updated.   Once you have completed this change with Registration, please email Tufts MC Primary Care Portal Support so that your Tufts MC Primary Care portal account can be updated.

How can I update my demographic information?

If there is incorrect information in your demographics or it has changed please call 617-636-0084 to reach our Tufts MC main registration office so your entire medical record can be updated.  

I see incorrect information in my medical record. Who should I contact?

If you have a question regarding information displaying in your My Medical Record tab on the Tufts MC Primary Care portal, please use the “Send a Message to My Provider” form within the “Contact Your Care Team” tab when you are logged into the Tufts MC Primary Care Portal.

How secure is my information?

Tufts Medical Center uses mo re stringent protections than those used in online banking or shopping. Healthcare in general is held to a higher standard for information security than other industries, and Tufts MC is in full compliance with federal and state laws that protect your privacy and the security of your electronic health information.
